xDRact is the technology and terminology used by Expandium to create custom KPIs on xDRs directly from the xDRs collected from Expandium’s non-intrusive eProbes. An xDRact is a table of custom KPIs and filters configured by the end user. xDRact can be based on templates, created and/or shared. Think of xDRacts as offering the same ease of configuration as spreadsheets, but with the ability to process billions of data in real time every day, and via a single interface.
By natively exporting KPIs through an NBI, the data produced can be sent to the operator’s own third-party solutions (e.g. corporate reporting, alert and NOC solutions, etc.) making them an invaluable source of information for the smooth running of the operator’s ecosystem.
Once one or several xDRacts have been set, the user can view their output in tables or on in-depth dashboards. Using a graphical dashboard editor, users can create, edit, delete and set as private or public as many dashboards as they desire. This is particularly useful when you want to exchange information between technical departments (e.g. a MAP protocol expert sharing their dashboard displaying an issue with a colleague who isn’t familiar with this protocol).
MonitorQOS includes many features which are constantly improved based on user feedback following the Agile Manifesto. Main features include :
Expandium is a vendor-independent company that uses its own Big Data platform comprised of non-intrusive passive probes (eProbes) and high-performance servers enabling real-time 24/7 monitoring. The platform is monitored by the Expand Management System (EMS) platform and the product, MonitorQOS, like other Expandium product for Mobile Network Operators has been developed to work flawlessly on 2G, 3G, LTE, VoLTE, VoIP and VoWifi networks.
