Position overview


As part of the operations team you’ll be joining, your main responsibilities will include :

  • responding to tickets created by clients and ensuring the service level agreements signed with each client are complied with
    investigating the systems deployed by Expandium in order to identify the root causes of incidents, and restoring the normal functioning of these systems
  • carrying out initial installation (hardware and software) and upgrades of Expandium systems in
    the client’s environment (locally and/or remotely)
  • ensuring good and constructive relations with Expandium clients
  • working and exchanging information with all Expandium departments, especially R&D and product managers, to maximize client satisfaction

Additionally, when you are familiar enough with Expandium’s range of solutions, you will manage installation projects, from customer purchase order to system acceptance, as well as provide training to the end users of Expandium solutions.

Required skills


  • Telecom and/or IT engineering degree
  • 5+ years of experience in customer support
  • Linux:
    • administration
    • network configuration
    • storage system configuration (LVM/standard)
  • Scripting languages, e.g. bash, perl, python
  • Protocol analysis, e.g. Wireshark
  • 2G/3G/4G networks (radio & core), and ideally GSM-R
  • Good communication skills and a client-oriented approach
  • Fluency in French and English (essential), knowledge of other languages considered a plus
  • Willing to travel internationally
